Great news, Chloe Swinbanks has passed her Level 1 Coaching Assistant course and now becomes a part of the qualified coaching team. Yet another member of the Volunteer Squad to move up the coaching ladder.

Well done Chloe!

Hi Everyone,
We have some important information to share with you regarding the future development of our club.

Block Bookings - September to October

Full details for the block booking sessions for September to October will be issued in the next 5-7 days. This Block will commence on Monday 9th September which is later than usual, as a result of the club preparing for an LTA Health Check.

LTA Health Check

In recent weeks the Management Committee have reviewed a range of processes and policies currently in place to help manage our club, this has identified some areas we feel will benefit from improvement. In order to validate and provide independent guidance for this process it has been agreed that the LTA will provide us with a Club Health Check. The process will look at a number of aspects of how we run the club with a focus on our Safeguarding approach, we intend implementing any recommendations made. The Health Check is provisionally scheduled for 6th September and will involve the Management Committee, Coaching Team and you our members, more details will follow in due course. It is intended to review how we as a club are doing currently and where we can make positive changes to improve our offering to you, our members.

Coaching Team

Dave Davis will be extending his break from his coaching duties and the Management Committee will ensure any gaps this creates with our group coaching sessions are filled by other members of our coaching team. During this period please could we ask that all enquiries members would ordinarily ask of Dave are directed to members of the Management Committee, we will be happy to provide any clarity where appropriate. In line with this we would ask you to note that Dave will not be providing any one to one coaching sessions for the remainder of 2019, the situation will be reviewed as we move into 2020.

The Management Committee are currently managing situations within the club which require sensitivity and confidentiality. We are aware of rumours circulating between members based on incomplete or inaccurate information and we would ask that all such speculation ceases and the Management Committee are afforded the opportunity to remedy appropriately any ongoing issues. Should any member have any questions as a result of these rumours please feel free to discuss the matters with member of the Management Committee as we will be happy to answer where appropriate

Many thanks,

on behalf of the Management Committee
